APPLE GREEN

A soft apple green kalidar frock, fitted through the bodice and gathered into a very full flare that holds its shape all the way to the floor. The ground is scattered with a fine wildflower trail — dusty rose, rust, cornflower blue and mustard blooms on thin drawn stems, spaced wide so the green stays the main colour.

At the centre front sits a large leaf shaped panel in deep maroon with a navy centre, outlined in fine gold. The bodice wraps to one side in an angrakha line and ties at the waist with a navy cord finished in gold capped tassels, with an ivory and gold lace following the wrap edge. The round neckline is edged in the same gold lace, and the long sleeves close with a navy and gold banded cuff.

The hem is finished with a wide self toned jacquard band framed top and bottom by a navy and gold ribbon trim. It comes with a navy sheer dupatta. A piece for mehndi functions, engagements and festive evenings.
